From Pretoria to Jamaica: What was the biggest adjustment for you while shooting Ultimate Girls Trip?
The biggest adjustment from Pretoria to Jamaica housewives was probably the much bigger scale of production, and also the scale of the drama. Production made sure to test my resolve as an alliance of three housewives were created to constantly oppose or contradict me. I took it all in my stride.
What were some of the challenges you faced while on the show?
The biggest challenge was the constant barrage of the screaming alliance. I never shout, and arguing with three woman at once took some adjustment on my part.
What were some of your favorite things about being in Jamaica?
The weather in Jamaica is heaven. The ocean has underfloor heating. I once went for a warm swim two o clock in the morning. There are no mosquitoes, or other bugs. The coffee is the best in the world. The local food is amazing.
What was it like shooting with ladies from all over SA and different Real Housewives franchises? Was this similar to shooting RHOPTA?
The ladies in the Jamaica housewives were chosen in my opinion because they had the strongest personalities of their respective shows. The drama in RHOPTA pales in comparison.
We’re dying to know – did you miss Rhona?
I can’t give away too much tea. I was attacked constantly by a blonde version of Rhona. Fans are going to enjoy me putting Rhona 2.0 in her place.
